For a couple of shirts you can go go to almost any hobby store and get a kit. If you want to start a business, DON'T. You need to get a job with decent textile printer in your area. You are jumping in too little knowledge and unless you can bankroll all your learning mishaps your almost sure to be doomed.

It is the fact that screen printing is a trade not a job. You can't just read a few books and build a skyscraper. You are on the right track with wanteing to stick to textiles but there are a lot of tricks to be learned about each step of the process. You want to stand out from the want to be printers that are making good money but delivering junk. I know we have all seen ink that has cracked after five washings because the ink was not cured properly or a red shirt that looks like it has been washed thirty times because the dryer was too hot. The graphic end of things can be tricky too. Start simple and work your way up at home. And learn on someone elses dime.

this is not an easier unfortunately. I studied this in college at Cal Poly while learning printing and graphics technology. You need to have access to a camera and film to make film positives (reverse of image you want). then you need a screen and this funny emulsion gelatin material to transfer the image due. Most you can expose in the sunlight out side. Then you need special inks, squeege.

It would take me way too long to fully describe in detail. but see websites attached for silk screen supply company and instructions.

Do you quite prefer to silk demonstrate your layout? The set up for that procedure will run you some extra money than i'd imagine you want to spend for a million blouse. have you ever considered making an iron on move. You get this move paper on the interior of reach workplace provide shop. experiment the photo, or layout, into your pc. Print it out onto the move paper, out of your printer. then you definitely in basic terms ought to iron it your blouse. extra specified classes are on the move equipment. that's likely a extra effective concept for a million blouse.
