ok soooo, im buying 3 pairs if 7's (the jeans) for my friendss, 1 of my friends is a size 3, another one of them is a size 9, and the other one is a size 11... and to know what the waist size is like is it 28, 30, 22.. ect....?

It is not the waist you need to worry about....it is the hips. The hip measurement determine the size jeans you should buy unless your belly is waaaay large then your waist size would determine the jean size.

I'm a firm believer in trying on pants. They are very difficult to buy for other people because everyone is built differently. You need your friends to try them on.
