Beauty & Style - 1 October 2006

Im pretty much set on getting one. Im just wondering what kind of pain to expect when getting it pierced. Ive gotten my tongue, nose and ears pierced plus Ive peirced my own ears. Of all of those getting my ears pierced in a shop hurt the worse!

I know it depends on each person. Can anyone compare a lip piercing with another peircing?

ok so i went in for a 'trim' and came out missing about 5 inchs!! my hair is barely past the shoulders and its all one blunt length and i part it down the middle. i have an oval face and some kinda big ears i usually conceal with the hair that i no longer have...any styleing, new cuts, products, ANYTHING...that will make it grow faster or look better??

I would also like to know how to go about talking to my wife about this she knows I shaved them we were together when her and I did it. So I have those 2 questions and would like some good answers. Hopefully nothing too expensive, maybe just something I could pick up at walmart or the drugstore, or maybe marykay...something like that. I think I have combination skin(possibly oily, but only in sum parts like my nose, chin), because alot of moisterizer I have tryed made my skin oily and I didn't like the way it felt, but I do want to start wearing moisteriser. Thanx

hello, i was just wandering. theres this kid at school, who dresses fashionably weird. can anyone know what his specific style. I don't know if it's cool or queer? let me be specific on what he looks like. For Starters, he wears a black small hoodie, and what he claims are "girl jeans". His hair color is blue, style is short on the back, but has long bangs, which he combs to one side to cover half his face. He also wears eyeshadow, a lip ring, earrings, black nails, punk rock belt and sports black n white checkerd vans. he's tall and very skinny. he absolutely says nothing and always listens to bands that no one has ever heard of. Can anyone tell me what the hell is this guy? and why does he dress that way? he sorta scares me.

so, i am 17 and i have been shaving my beard and moustace for 1 year...
but i dont like it now, because the hair is thicker and grows faster... i have to shave 2-3 times a week and i dont want to... I'm only 17!!! my father shaves 3 times a week!!!... but i took out some hair with a pincers... and i saw that it grows back much slower, and less thicker...
q: do u think that using my mothers epilator on my face, could damage my skin???

like everytime i comb it a lot of hair falls out with the comb and i guess its cause of the dyes i been using and gels so is there anything i can make ma hair look healthy and actually grow it back. like ma end r dead and the tips of it is white because its not living. what can i do? what shampoo can i use or conditinor or hair oil? i tired carrot oil it works but idk i dont use it whats your seggestion what should i use or do?

I am half chinese, so instead of having my mom's nice textured hair, I've got thick, straight hair.

I've been consulting with hairstylists in town & tried to get wavy perms. That was a big mistake. My hair got fried. I try to curl iron it, nothing happens. Hair gel/spray does nothing! I tried to get my hair layered, but nah, no luck on that either.

I was wondering if my type of hair is the kind that needs to be dealt with by a expensive, highly praised hair stylist??


Also, I live in a small town, so the choice in hair salons are minimal. I wasn't sure if maybe it's because of the salon choice that I have here.

i am a curly-haired girl before and many admired it.. but i never liked my hair so i went in a cheap stall where hair is treated and i let them make my hair straight... but after that, i regretted every thng!!! okay because I dont have acne or anything but I noticed in the past year that my skin on my face just looks rougher than it used to, like my pores are bigger....or something. I dunno I cant pinpoint what is different but my skin just used to look healthier and had more of a glow to it. Or maybe it's just me getting older (i'm only 19 tho)
