I haven't even though the ones I have gotten were supposed to be a quality brand. I wonder why they still make them.

If I bought acrylic either intentionally or not for myself or for my grandson, I always had the same problem. About the best you can do is to turn the sweater inside out, wash on gentle or delicate cycle, and dry on low heat or line dry if possible. I guess the problem is that it's a synthetic material and doesn't have the "natural" combination of fibers like other kinds.

I noticed some of the better brands or the better catalogs are carrying some really pretty sweaters this season--and a lot of them are acrylic. Guess we'll have to read the labels more closely.

I don't know if drycleaning would help or not.
