Beauty & Style - 1 October 2006

I can walk and balance just fine in high heels, but with stilettos, when I walk heel-toe, the heel gets scraped to nothing in one wearing. What am I doing wrong? The heel catches on the pavement, bends a little, and makes a horrible scraping noise. Is my stride too long? Height doesn't seem to make a difference -- 4", kitten heel, you name it, if it's got a tiny point on the bottom, that point is gone before you can say hey presto. I do walk a lot on city sidewalks ... do I have to give up on pointy heels?

I have dark brown hair almost black. I tried dying it the other day with i think Loreal (temporary) BUT didnt happne,, didnt change at all! I also want to lighten my eyebrows so any suggestions of brands to use and ideas will help. Thankyou

I have a black suit with very very faint blue and red pin stripes that alternate. My question is would it be ok to wear a dress shirt which also has a vertical striped pattern?

If so what color would you suggest for the shirt and what color for the stripes on the shirt? Thanks for your help!

That those "crocs" (shoes) are a bit on the ugly side? Esp the ones with the holes in them...they really dont go with anything unless you are a dentist or something. I understand they are confortable...but there are better looking shoes that add just as much comfort
