My friend had dry hair in the areas she dyed it, but your body could be creating more oil to make up for the dryness. This could lead to gross things like scalp pimples or flakiness. Try washing and conditioning your hair and get it balanced again before something yucky happens up there.

No, not always. It's probably oily because your body is trying to protect your hair with increased oil production. I suggest you brush your hair thoroughally several times a day. Also, don't use that brand of dye again. You may develop an allergy to it!

Any chemical services done to the hair do dry the hair out, question is have u changed to another product, different shampoo conditioner or styling aids? that could be it.

you could be using a dye that has built in conditioner so that it doesnt dry out your hair and if your hair is naturally very soft and healthy then it can make it too conditioned and become greasy

same thing happend to me i though it was because of the conditioner that they give you with the dye.

If it is a darker colour it will coat your hair not strip it.
