Beauty & Style - 28 September 2006

I want to try to find a NICE dress fo new years. I was thinking about making one. I need somethings that is modest; not really tight and doesn't show a ton of skin, and I don't really want it to be sleeveless.. thats my definition of modest in a nutshell.
If you have any suggestions on:
1. if I should buy a dress or make it
2. where i can get dress patterns (i don't know if walmart has good formal-ish patterns or not...)
3. whats a good place to get a new years dress?
or anything of the subject, that would be great. I don't think I'll be able to purchase anything online, except maybe for ebay but I'm not too sure that that would be a good idea because i won't know if it fits me and looks right.

help me decide what o do! and how to do it!

I am writing this because I just saw a comment that said that professional stylist are trained to style all hair types. I have heard of professional stylist who are white and are able to style black hair , I have seen them at hair shows, etc. And I have also visited a white stylist once. Just for a trim and style. She trimmed my hair fine, but the styling was bland and boring . I find it a rare occasion to find a non-black stylist who can not only style hair, but help maintain its health.

Does tanning lotion make you have more wrinkles? Because I put some on yesterday and a friend said that it'll make me look like 40 when i'm 20, and same with make-up. Is it ok if you put make-up on and wash it off completly before you go to bed or will it still make you look like an old grandma?!

I started using organic olive oil soap and body lotion, and all my face is now covered with huge and small pimples of the kind wich i have only from dirt!... It seems that the organic stuff is not so good for me, is it?
