If you have a good skintone and no problem areas, then just do a light powder, no foundation. And a neutral eye color with maybe a little lip gloss. Good luck!

If your skin is in OK condition, just go for a tinted moisurizer a little darker than your natural skintone to give you some color.

If you feel you need color on your cheeks, use either a light bronzing powder or a coral gel blush, but DO NOT put on the apples of your cheeks. Especially at your age. Lightly blend at the top edge of your cheekbone (by your temple; between your ear and the corner of your eye).

As for eyes, I personally hate eyeshadow. Just use mascara on top lashes (and on bottom as an alternative to eyeliner). At the inner corners of your eyes, dab a light-reflecting cream in almost any color.

On your lips, a nude/peach gloss with a metallic sheen looks great on eyeryone.

If you decide to do up your eyes a little more, go for a matte chapstick on your lips.

As far as being appropriate, 13 is an excellent age to get into makeup because it gives you enough time to discover what works before you actually NEED makeup. When going out, stick to a routine; but if you are staying at home, you can experiment with different looks and techniques. Plus, it will be fun!

Light lip gloss and eye shadow are all right, shimmer colors look good on girls your age. Avoid black mascara unless you have very dark hair and don't bother with smudge proof it never works well enough to be worth the extra expence. If you have zits that you want to cover ask the women at the makeup counter for advise some makeup's can make skin problems like that worse.
Don't forget to wash it all off at night you'll regret it in the morning if you do.

None, Naturally Beauty, say it with me NAT-URAL BEU- TY. Thats all you need don't look fake like some of these other chicks your too young for one and lip gloss and lip liner should be it if you want to make your lips look smooth and stand out no eye shadow or blush. That stuff isn't good recent studies have shown some of those makeups causes wrinkles at an early age so you go back and buy their wrinkle reducing products, true story. But remember NATURAL BEAUTY!!!!!!

when i was thirteen i started getting a pimple or two, i never had a serious acne problem but i would try to hide the ones i had with concealers and foundations. - bad - i would break out even more. even the foundations that are suppose to be good for your skin can cause skin irritations. i would stick to a powder. a soft shade of lipstick with a matching lip liner. or lip gloss. less is more. you want to look pretty and enhance your natural beauty. not look like a clown or a cheap trick. as a rule of thumb your lipstick and blush should be the same color to give you a fresh natural look. you should dramatize your eyes or lips but never both.

Neutral is best for your age. If you want to use eye shadow, stick to a nude-goldish color and some mascara. It is great for day or night. Also, try not to wear too much. You will find that the more you put on the more you are uncomfortable with your natural, beautiful self.

Remeber also that a natural face is in for fall, you will see it on all the runwways...

=)

WELL I KNOW this is the age when you want to wearmakeup that is understandable....
i say mascara, to bring out your eyes, and lip gloss, a subtle light color, to plumpin your lips, and thats it, you will look fabulous with just this. If you wear anything els, you will look cheap or bad, because of your age. Good Luck..I hope You Look awesome!

Well, anything you like! But i think you should prefer natural colors like pink, brown, and tan colors with some eyeliner, and when you go out to a party or like a girl's night out, THEN you should put on eye shadow colors like purple, blue, grey, and all of those colors. Just as long as you wash all of it off before you go to bed, you're ok! =)

as much as you want, if your face is starting to look fake..you have too much on.

if you would like to wear cover up find your skin tone so you can cover things up and not look fake.

stay away from RED lip stick/lip gloss. also stay away from bright blue eye shadow.

i wear eye liner, tan eye shadow for the glitter gloss look, and cover up. im 15 by the way.

Hope this helps!
