Hi girls! What is the best place to go to for a makeover?

i woke up with a huge scar on my face :( wut do i?

Why are Goodwill Employees so rude?

I found a Dooney and Bourke Handbag at Goodwill ( Retails for $150-200+ but this one might be fake.). It was listed at $4.99 so OF COURSE I am going to buy it (real or not).

I take it to the cashier and she takes one look at it, then looks at the tag suspiciously. She then moves the purse off to the side and starts to go through it looking for any other sort of price mark on it. (Goodwill is now marking prices in PERMANANT marker, the purse should have had roman numerals somewhere ID'ing the price. This purse had no such marks - thank god. Like i want it de-faced so they can get more FREE $)

She calls over an assistant manager, and they both go over it several times, ignoring the tag that is RIGHT in their faces. She asks the A.M, if she should call the Manager over for a price check. WTF? They decide to sell it to me, but HOW RUDE! I was greatly offended, and I won't be returning. Get some damn respect GW employees, how can you be so rude when you're getting money for free?

do makeup primers really work? what are their purpose?

I purchased the prep + prime for eyes by mac yesterday. I tested it on my client yesterday. i am still not sure if primers are necessary for preventing the makeup from wearing off or creasing.

What do you think is part of the face that makes or breaks a person?

I see a smile and think an overall "ugly" person can actually be super cute with a good smile, my husband thinks a nose (reason being cause it is the thing that literally sticks out the most on a face) what do you guys think?

My flatiron worn out?

I have the superstar flat iron for about a year or two. My mother and I both use it once a week, and sometimes during the week for touch ups. I've noticed that it isn't as good as it used to be. My hair is very curly and long and it would look like glass after I'd use it; now it just looks like my hair is frizzy and puffy. Does this mean that I need to buy another $100 flatiron? A friend of mine has the same brand flatiron and had it for longer and hers is still giving her the pantene prov look. Is mine just shot from using it so much? Do flatirons have life expectancies?
I'd appreciate any responses.
