I'm only 13, any my parents and other people are always saying how good I am at taking pictures. Just wondering what you think of some pictures, because I'm thinking about taking a photography class this winter.

I usually take sports pictures with a 300mm 2.8 and was thinking about getting a 50mm 1.8 for some volleyball, but I was wondering can this lens be used for any other type of photography besides sports? I know the price is cheap, but I would hate to buy a lens to be used only for VB.

I'm an amateur photographer. I have done a few jobs here and there. I get jobs by where people see the photos that I take of my own family. I haven't really put myself out there.

But, I've been wondering lately if I should put myself out there. I love doing this and would be happy to do phtography as a career. First, I would like to find out what others think. I'm nervous!

Thanks!

I was usinng a Pentax SLR camera and every photo I took with flash came out blurred. At first I thought it was the film, (I could only get 200ASA) but the first few shots I took at this time were on 400ASA that was still in my camera. Other flash shots taken a few months ago and prior to this catastrophe were fine. What happened?

I am strongly considering photographing sporting events and selling prints on site. I have the equipment and experience with action photography but I was wondering for like track meets, soccer tournaments, etc. If the organizers usually ask to take a cut from a commercial photography venture. I'd like to at least know a bit of the insider info on how you go about negotiating for this sort of thing. If you dont know, dont answer.

I was wonder what is your personal opinion of either one if you have experience with one. Im saving up for a prime low-light lens and i think these are the best lenses for what i am going to be doing (portraits and stage). I would love the f/1.4 for both build and obvious aperture but is it worth the almost $300 more? i would also consider the 85mm f/1.8

Any tips that I can pass on would be most helpful.

I noticed in most of my pictures, I always have extremely red eyes. My friends and family do, too, but I have them the worst. Why is that? I have a program that fixes it but it sometimes it can't always be fixed 100%

I have been in business for the last 2 years and I've had a few people say I should go up on my prices. Would you please take the time to look at my site, especially at the recent shoots (not just one) and read about what all I do (pretty much find out as much info as possible) and decide if I should go up or stay right where I am at with my pricing. Oh yeah, and does my website suck? I designed it myself. Honesty is appreciated! THANK YOU! www.photographybyjoyelle.com
