poor technique, poor composition, poor focus, they are the initial thoughts
on closer inspection the cabinet on the left is well focused, try the timer and move away from the camera so it can focus, soft focus is cool but poor focus is not

I took one like this once, but without the dog. Title became 'mishap with self-timer'. Sorry, but this was the first thing I thought.
