Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to do IR photography with a Hoya R72 and a Canon 1DMIII. I wanted to do this with my canon 20D but I read that this would come out with a poor result due to some IR filtering software in the camera's sensor. Is this the same with the 1DMIII or does it work?

Im moving back to New York next year around this time, and I really need to find a college to go to. Im already taking some classes up at Valley College here in California, but I need to know about an art school, the BEST one, or at least ONE of the best. Not to mention an apratment. I remember when I used to live there in Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Harlem, the rent was ridiculous, but now its just insane! Anyone know about apartments and art schools, please help out, I'd really appreciate it. An art school for photography, film, fashion, and writing, and an apartment. HELP ME! Thanks.

I am new to photography and I was thinking of getting a Nikon D80. Do you think that would be a good camera for an unexperienced photographer? What do you suggest?

Thanks!

This project is an individual assignment for college level school work. The man I am going to photograph is a master photograher and I so want to do a good job and show his artistry at work.

Hi, I want to save my photos onto CD. I want to rotate them all so I they are all vertical. Will this spoil the quality if I want reprints later? I though I'd read somewhere that if you rotate a photo it might spoil the printing quality? (I hope this makes sense?) Thank you in advance :o)

I'm taking a photography class right now. I took a roll at the beach with 11-14 F-stop and 1000-2000 shutter speed on all the pictures. Those turned out good for the most part but since then hardly any pictures are turning out. My negatives are too light or too dark and they are so extreme( to one side of the other) that I'm not finding any way to print good shots ( even with filters and such).

In anycase, can someone please give me examples... 14 at the beach, ? during the day.... or just difference examples of Which F-Spot to use when...

Please help!

I might buy the lights mentioned in this ad:
http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/3733158

There is a pic of them here:
http://www.geocities.com/fastlane_77/lamp.htm

As it says in the description, "2 lights, also come with a separate clamp, not shown, so that you can clamp the lamp on whatever and not use the stand."

My question is this:
How much is it worth? The quote says $100 or best offer, and I wonder if $100 is worth it for that product.

Every time I try to take a picture of my little black kitty it either ends up with her looking like a dark blob or with everything but her looking overexposed.

Is there any way to take a nice picture of a black cat with a digital camera?

What is a bleed on file?

This is what was sent to me.

The new file you have sent in still has a lo-resolution earth logo on the front and back. Also there is no bleed on the file.

I'm making bookmarks, but it keeps getting kicked back to me because of the low resolution.

I need to fix this asap.

thanks in advance
