hey guys, usually im a VERY creative person. i enjoy drawing and everything that has to do with art. but right now i CANNOT think of anything. the thing is, that i have to do an art project. i have to take a picture/photo with a matching title that tells a story and then edit it in photoshop or something. so basically the picture has to tell a story =)). any ideas? it could be love or anything but i REALLY want it to tell a story...

What is the lowest shutter speed I can use to avoid motion blur created by hand shake while using an external flash (SB-800)? I know the camera will output enough light even at high shutter speed but I want to keep as much ambient light as possible.

Have a question for a wedding photographer - Would you suggest film or digital?

My sister got married in 2005 and used film because she was told by her photographer that if something happened to a roll of film she would be out about 15 pictures, but if something happened with digital, she would be out everything. Has anyone heard of this and what about for a 2009 weddng? Film or digital?

Additional Details
Maybe I should have been more specific - I think the issue is that with the film if a roll of film got lost or damaged then 12-15 pictures would be lost or damaged. But if digital then if the memory card (I guess) got lost or damaged then 50 or 100 or 200 or more pictures would be lost or damaged. That is why I'm wondering about the film vs digital question. Can people please give me their opinions for a 2009 wedding? Thanks.

I have been doing photography for about 2 years. I just recently started actively studying Photoshop CS2. Here are a few pics of PS works, please let me have you honest opinion. Constructive criticism is accepted.

Thanks.

I sell 8x12" prints with a resolution of 150 dpi and my question is: Can my clients enlarge the 8x12" print and get a good result?
All my photographs are copyrighted but some people do not respect that. What's the recomended resolution to get a good 8x12"print but not good for reprints or enlargements?.
Or can they scan the photo and make it big?
How can I avoid that?
Thanks.

In my digital photography class, we have an assingment that needs to portray a song but in a picture.

I need some ideas.

Must be a good song. Nothing naughty or bad words.

The picture needs to explain the song. 1 picture.

thanks.

Is there anything special that you have to request to be done with the film, or do you just hand it to them??

This is complicated. The lighting is all wrong, the placement is a pain.
Here is a pic of where the web is.
