Stand at the bottom of a tall building - get close. Then shoot straight upward and get the whole building as it shoots into the sky. Do this on a partly sunny day so you get good light and lots of interesting clouds.

I love taking pictures of just really random stuff like the pattern that smoke makes or a bird under a table etc, things that people will look at and think "oh, I've never noticed that before".

If you are in the UK, the canals with old canal boats are great subjects.
Good colour on the banks at the moment with the trees in full Autumn colour, not too much movement on the water so really good reflections of boats and bridges.
Bridges are particularly good with the sun setting behind them - not too much light into your lens and a good contrast between man and nature.
Are you quick enough to snap a kingfisher? Or can you creep up on a heron before it flies off?

It is now autumn (if you are in the States, then its called fall). The leaves (as you know) die and create a crispy golden colour at this time of year.
Find an area of woodland, wait until the sun is dropping, make sure you have sun behind you and click!
Autumnal snaps are often voted highly on Webshots, Flickr etc and other photo host sites.

I love to take pictures of landscape..mountains with the sun hitting them in the most beautiful way, old buildings in black and white, old farm houses in the middle of nowhere, animals playing, odd looking trees, people smiling, close-up things...like flowers, bees, birds, and so on....there is so much too take pictures of...so many possiblities. I love photography. Enjoy!

If you live in a seasonable climate, now is a great time for nature photography. The leaves changing, the grass is still green, crisp foggy mornings.. all these things can look beautiful in a photograph.

Anything and everything! Try to take everyday things from an unusual angle. That makes interesting shots.
