ok i wanna get a tripod and have been in jessops and they have some for £30 ish. thats the cheapest. now i can guess that getting a much more expensive one would be a better tripod. but. i have seen one on ebay for £2.50 plus £7 postage (coming from hong kong).

i can't really afford to spend much money on one but want to get the best quality i can (dont wanna have to buy another 1 cos it's broke or whatever).

do u recon that this cheaper tripod would be a good buy, before i do actually purchase it or do u think in the long run it could be a bad mistake

Would it look pretty decent if we are all wearing different shades of brown? Not all of us have something black or white. I was thinking we would all wear brown or tan shirts and jeans. Would that look OK?

I find it humorous that a person who asks a question on a website solely based for asking questions gets shot down for doing just that. I do not post questions for rude answers- I post them for constructive criticism. Telling me that I am stupid for pursuing a photography career because I have not gone to school to learn the encyclopedia for a digital camera is absolutely the most absurd thing I have ever heard. You can purchase the most expensive camera, go to the best school out there, and set yourself up with some fancy studio... that does not give you the talent to take a beautiful picture OR the position to degrade anyone who is out to pursue a hobby.
I consider myself an amateur PHOTOGRAPHER who is only out to my better my photographic capabilities. I don't steal people's money and give them poor photos. I work hard at what I do. I could never imagine using any of the people who "answered" my question as a photographer due to their cocky arrogant nature. You're going to fail.

Are you aware that in many areas our right to take photographs is being challenged? Many of the reasons given are specious and meant to intimidate us.

For a thought-provoking article, go to shutterbug.com and type in Right To Keep and Bear Cameras. It is in the Dec. 2007 issue of Shutterbug Magazine on p 130.

I took a photograph of a couple children with their mother a few years ago at my library (where I work). At the time I was just taking photos to capture what happens at the library. I now want to use the photos as examples of our work to the general public. I have made a lot of effort in trying to find the children and mom to have permission to use the photo, with no result. My children's librarian doesn't recognize the family, nor does surrounding librarians at county libraries, nor does local elementary schools. There is not a way I can stage the photo again with other children. Can I use the photo? The mother did pose and I took many pictures.

It disappoints me to print out digital camera photos, because they LOOK like they were digital photos. Is there any way to get the same quality as if I had got a disposable camera developed?

Okay, so this girl who's feature editor and thinks she's Miss Perfect took what I heard was a great picture of some person on a swing. She thinks she's going to win an award for best photo at journalism conferences. She's already going to win something for her lousy writing. Plus, she's always really mean to me because I'm not Genius Girl.

So why do I care? I'm photo editor! I'm supposed to win those awards. Anyway, what are some good photo locations, tips, and tricks for a black-and-white (I know, it cuts off a bunch of opportunities) school newspaper? Thank you so, so much!

A digital camera shoots JPEG format at 36 bit depth and with 12 bit depth for the R, G, and B into one picture. Another camera shoots a simple 24 bit depth RGB photo. Which one is better and why.

What looking for is who that artist is because I seen a super cute poster while out of town a while ago at a Bed Bath and Beyond but didn't buy it. And now I wish I would have bought it for a friend. I have searched all over the net but can find anything.
Anyways this photographer has super cute pictures of babies sometimes dressed up in costumes. Like one I seen there were babies dressed up in animal costumes and under it said something like farm animals. Any help would be appreciated!
