not sure if you're into macro photography, but it's alot of fun to explore. So, a 1-1 macro lense with extension tubes covers alot of ground, at the macro level.

External flash....on board flash is lame, I like the power and versatility of a good bounce flash.

a good eye, good understanding of the camera, and good editing software when the first two fail.
