I have always preferred Tri-X pan B&W film but now I want to try color. I show at galleries and sell framed enlargements. Colleagues insist I need to try color again. Any ideas??? I know the resolution in slide film is generally higher. Brands of film? I take street photos, and head shots mostly!!!!

I want something that can be used for a sports, dances, portraits, etc. Probably light gray with blue and a little red for color. I have a white muslin and need to know how to paint or dye it. Which is the best for a long-lasting backdrop?

How do you take a black and white picture but make only parts of it colored? Like a black and white picture with red roses where the only color in the picture would be the red roses or something like that.

i would check for myself...but everywhere i go the price range changes :)

and apparently for "amazon.co.uk" a 30d with a lens is more expensive than one that is sold with only its body

thanks

Is there any lakes or woods in Rangeley that are particularly good for finding moose? Are there other nearby locations that are good as well?

i need help deciding which of the two cameras to buy!

although i would normally get the 350d because is more modern(thus having more features).... the dimension seems a little too small to feel comfortable in your hands-

if anybody has it...could you tell me what it feels like to you (too small or just right e.t.c)

and are their major differences between the 300d and the 350d?? if not then im better of getting the 300d- but unlike the 350d...the 300d has color filters i believe..though not sure

thanks

I shoot using 400 ISO *FILM* in a Yashica FX-3 camera and I've heard people shoot at different settings other than using 400. How much would I need to compensate with the light meter?

I'm pretty confident I can take some decent pictures. Does anyone know of a way to send them somewhere, to get paid for them? Or get them published? Such as a magazine. Or something of that sort? Any information or tips would be helpful

I need some honest opinions, and criticism. And how I can make it better. I just started, and right now I'm just experimenting with angles and things in the garden in my backyard. Also, the site took quite a while to make. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. =)

It would be interesting to find out about this whole process. On which websites can you download your own pictures? Would these be only cellphone pics? What's the quality of the pics? Surely the quality of cellphone pics must be very poor. Can one download pics from digital cameras (and ordinary film cameras) too? Is there a lot to learn before you can put a cellphone pic on a website?

We are going to another state for a family function. While we are there, my in laws want to have a family photograph taken at a studio.
My mother in law just called to say that a pro photographer made a suggestion that everyone in the family should wear the same thing so that nobody would stand out. She wants us to wear navy blue tops and jeans. What do you think of this idea??
