i need help deciding which of the two cameras to buy!

although i would normally get the 350d because is more modern(thus having more features).... the dimension seems a little too small to feel comfortable in your hands-

if anybody has it...could you tell me what it feels like to you (too small or just right e.t.c)

and are their major differences between the 300d and the 350d?? if not then im better of getting the 300d- but unlike the 350d...the 300d has color filters i believe..though not sure

thanks

the 350 is a good upgrade to the 300. the 350 is closer to the 20D. I bought a 20D before the 350 was release, because i liked the features and sensor better than the 300. my brother recently bought a 350 and the photos are very, very close. if you can find a 300 and it is in the price range you want, then buy it. i have a friend who takes wedding photos with her 300 without any problems. spend the extra cash on lenses. bodies will always depreciate, but if they perform to your standards, then be happy. get some great glass.

The 300 is alot slower in processing speed and when you start the camera, it takes alittle longer to "boot up" . Picture quality is very good and unless you are shooting sports or wildlife, your processing and start up speeds are not that important. We use a 300 on weddings and it is a reliable camera. Just make sure if you buy one used that you check the Canon websites for software upgrades.
