I'm pretty confident I can take some decent pictures. Does anyone know of a way to send them somewhere, to get paid for them? Or get them published? Such as a magazine. Or something of that sort? Any information or tips would be helpful

If you are looking to get paid for your work, be prepared for rejection letters, but they all start somewhere. You can always try National Geographic. To be able and share your pictures (no pay), try webshots.

Dependng on what they're of, try sending them to magazines and news papers. Also go to a book store and buy a copy of this year's Photographer's Market. It's a book wtih lots of choices for you.
