I need some honest opinions, and criticism. And how I can make it better. I just started, and right now I'm just experimenting with angles and things in the garden in my backyard. Also, the site took quite a while to make. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. =)

For 13 you are WAY ahead of yourself. I'm a professional artist and designer and you should continue to pursue your art with great passion.

It's hard to do a real critique. That web site is clumsy. You need larger pictures and they shouldn't be inside a scroll box. Look at some other interfaces.

Follow your interests. Read about photographers you like. Take classes but keep the things that interest you always fresh and personal. You are off to a great start.

You have very nice work! As a wedding photographer I have a few things that I keep in mind and maybe they will work for you too. When I take a pic of "most " of a brides gown, I just back up and take the whole thing, try to take the whole flower or butterfly or whatever when you are already showing most of it,,,now if your going close up, REALLY go close up. I want to see the wings of the bee!! Go for it! You have very nice ideas and I like the cool angles. As for your site, see if you can set up a yahoo website. They have very simple webpages and they are easy to set up. Mine is a paid one, magiccatphotography.net , but there are free ones as well, have fun, join the photography club!! Maybe I will see you on a wedding some day!!!

WOW your pics are pretty good..I'm not real knowledgeable about this..but i think you are on a good start.. you have imagination and creativity.. with the more knowledge you get the better you will be... The only thing i can think of this moment is to not make all the pics up so close--have them different distances..I don't really know though.. I think you are pretty good though..Keep it up..i would be interested in seeing future pics and how well you do..Good Luck!!

Very good.
I think you have been let down by the camera.
I specialise in macro photography here are some of my tips to help you on your way.
Use aperture priority when yo can, F8 or smaller depending on the shutter speed.
Use a tripod as often as you can
Use flash as much as you can.

For a 13 years old with digital camera, is good, however pay more attention to the focusing, some of them are completely out; if you can isolate the subject the better; I mean is sharp subject and blurred background.
keep it up.

I really like your pictures! The colors are bright and cheerful, and you really seem to understand close-up work! Keep studying photography. Take classes in school, if you can. Join clubs, and keep taking pictures. You'll be a pro some day, I'm sure!
