I'm painting an acrylic-on-canvas project, and I wanna experiment it as a semi collage. Is there a certain medium I should use to stick objects like fabric or beads on it? And is it done while it's wet or dry?

I went to a art display today. I saw many beautiful canvases and scultures. But why do paintings costs thousands of dollars? Other than the fact that they look amazing, what makes it so valuable? I just want to understand this. Thanks for answering. Peace!

I recently purchased "By The Seashore" at a very rural location. I am interested in the value of this painting....the painting appears to be oil on canvas and is in excellent condition. I am interested in any information anyone might have regarding this painting.

I’m one panel away from finishing this stupid multi-panel thing and was thinking I would paint the last scene as perhaps a ghost town or as perhaps some still standing, but falling down, ancient ruins.

But perhaps one of you can come up with something better? If you do I’ll use it. Just make sure whatever you suggest is somehow city concept related.

i own a craft myspace with my cousin, and when i want to add, say, pink to a black and white picture i found on google or photobucket, the square on the end of the paint brush could be pink, but it colors in gray.
sometimes it does this, and sometimes it lets me color on them.
does anyone know how i can color on the ones that wont let me?is there a special setting that i have to put on that picture?
thanks in advance!!!
