I’m one panel away from finishing this stupid multi-panel thing and was thinking I would paint the last scene as perhaps a ghost town or as perhaps some still standing, but falling down, ancient ruins.

But perhaps one of you can come up with something better? If you do I’ll use it. Just make sure whatever you suggest is somehow city concept related.

Personally I think it should be the edge of town. Maybe a neglected house startling the edge of town and the edge of the woods.

Don't go 'ruins'. It would ruin the concept of what you made. I'd rather go 'space age'. But even that may not be the best subject for it.

I think an interior with a model of a city on a table would be perfect for that spot. Some moonlight coming through a window. It would contrast great with the bent skyscrapers next to it.

An old wooden fence with tattered advertisments, showbills, etc. Maybe on one of the "ads" have a repeat of one of the panels you've finished.

A big empty church with stained glass windows. You don't see many of them in the city.
