I need to find some kind of shop or gallery that accepts new artists in Jacksonville fl. I do original acrylic paintings on canvas and have sold many privately but I need a bigger outlet. People seem to like what I do. Mostly abstract and surrealism.

It is a black and white photo of a man and woman (both brunettes).
The man is trying to kiss the woman, but she turns away and he gets her cheek. Her hair is windblown across her face.
Thanks.

My mother has a set of full size chromalithographs of "Cherry ripe" and "Bubbles" with the monograms on the bottom right.
They are very old and quite likely to be one of the first hundred sets made. She is thinking about auctioning them because money is an issue at the moment. Any ideas of possible value?

I'm painting a BIG mural in my son's bedroom. The paint needs to be non-toxic since he's under 2 yrs old, and I'm pregnant. What kind of paint is best? Acrylic? Latex?
A couple of points:
1- I'm going to be taping some sections off with blue painter's tape, but I've had some bad luck with latex paint peeling away when I take the tape off.
2- I'd like this to be reasonably inexpensive.
Thanks!

when painting, (or drawing, or sculpting - or "doing art) - do you direct your work, or do you let the painting just "happen." do you strictly follow your inspiration - make an exact copy, or do you alter it? I'd really appreciate it if you would share your creative process! thanks!

how much time to you spend each day/week working on something creative? do you ever seem to get "lost" in your work, where time just flies by and you have no clue where it went? do you limit yourself to scheduled hours, or just let it happen?

And why? I would have to say that so far, mine is 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' by Hieronymus Bosch (at least that's what I think it is at the moment - I'll probably remember one I like more later!) I like it's intricacy and playfulness.
