Would an original George Loring Brown oil-painting be worth anything? And if so how much would it be worth? If anyone knows a site or something that I could send a picture of the painting and get it appraised because I'm currently in Egypt and the painting is with me. Thanks

most people call pink a color. i believe pink is a tint. not a color. it doesnt get reflected from prisms or the light spectrum. it dosnt appear on rainbows. and u cant make it using primary colors. that last statement proves it should never be referred to as a "COLOR".

I have tried before to take photos of my oil paintings with my digital camera, but the quality always comes out (enter obscene adjective here)! Is this due to my camera or do the other artists on the web use some other form fo recording the image (like a scanner....?) Since I am unsure whether a camera is actually used I decided to put this question in the Painting and not the photography section.

What must you do to the canvas and paints for preparation beforehand? I'd like to use special boards for oil painting designed
for that use.
