Besides Jasper Johns, there is Vangelis, David Hockney, Yoko Ono, Thomas Arvid, Jamie Wyeth, Sandro Chia, Mark di Suvero, Richard Estes, Red Grooms, Richard Shaffett, Roy Lichtenstein, Alex Katz, Richard Longo, Louise Nevelson, Ellsworth Kelly, George Segal, Isamu Noguchi, David Salle and Judy Pfaff.
I'm sure I've left a few off this list but these are the 'A' list modern artists living in America today and making money from their art. The only exceptions here to the term 'modern art' are Hockney (who paints in the neo-realism style) and Jamie Wyeth (who paints in the figurative realistic style of his famous father, Andrew Wyeth).
