Would an original George Loring Brown oil-painting be worth anything? And if so how much would it be worth? If anyone knows a site or something that I could send a picture of the painting and get it appraised because I'm currently in Egypt and the painting is with me. Thanks

call an appraiser.

a reproduction of his titled "View at Amalfi Bay of Salerno" 1857 is running $189.00.

you'll only know for certain that yours is an original if you have it appraised by someone knowledgeable.

considering several pieces of his are on display in museums and on tour - if it is an original, i would think that you've got something that you will be happy with.
