Ladies.
What would you think if you receive a drawing for your birthday from one of your closest friends?
I'm a man, and I'm planning to do a drawing from one of her photographs, a realistic one.

Any thoughts on this?

Will somebody get sued if they do? If they draw homestar on paper, scan it into the computer, then put it on the internet (deviantart.com)?

I have an engraving by A Van Ostade from the Vincent Price Collection which was purchased in the late 1950's from a show at Sears. It is approximately 4-1/2 x 6 inches in size. Where can I find the value of this piece of art from the 17th Century?

I know i am capable and i know i have ability but whenever i try to draw or paint i feel as if their is some type of barrier keeping me from any type of creative thought, leaving me frustrated and ready to give up. I become extremly critical of anything i create and im always unsatisfied with it. Does anyone know of any way i might be able tap into a more artistic side. Any advice at all? Any way i can figure out my style and find a type of art that is right for me? thank you...

i have heard from many people that left-handed people are more tapped into their artistic and abstract side than right handed people. So if you were to learn to use your left hand.....will it benefit at all?.......thank you.
