It is possible I suppose, but if you're naturally right-handed then it would probably be very hard and frustrating to learn to use your left hand.
This reminds me of a personal experience I had in painting class one time: I was painting a still life, and had been working steadily for a couple of hours (this was actually in the evening after class) and I wasn't thinking about anything really, just looking at the still life and at my painting. Then suddenly I realized I had unconsciously switched my paintbrush into my left hand so I could do something else with my right, and then just continued painting like that for several minutes. I guess my point is that it's not impossible to learn to use your left hand artistically, but you kind of have to get your brain out of the way. I'm not sure I could do that with the work I do now because most of my art is based on something I'm imagining, not something that is right in front of me and all I have to do is look at it.
I think it could be done with a lot of practice, and you might find that your style and subject matter coming from the right side of your brain is totally different than what you get from your other side. If you have the patience, it could be interesting!

I was reading a book that said left-handed artists are more free handed, not as tight when drawing as the average right-handed person. I don't think that means they are more artistic in anyway, but it might be a useful technique to know when doing things with different media.

some scientist believe left handers are more artsy because the side of the brain that controls their left hand, but if this is true it isn't their hand that causes their brains to be creative, it would be the other way around, the left "artsy" side of the brain would be more prominent so they would be more likely to be left handed...anyways using your left hand wouldn't benefit, art is not just talent but knowledge whether or not people realize it, you've got to see things a certain way to draw them and know what it is you want to draw, so really it's your eyes and how your brain can picture things not just how your hand can create things on paper.

Honestly I don't think so,but I do beleive to force someone to write with a right hand when by nature they are left, does in fact create problems. If only in penmanship reasons. But to learn how to write left??? For creativity? No, tap your mind, not your hand, you have in your mind what you can convey by hand whether left or right handed, NO, the key is OPEN or CLOSED minded
