Hi, my name is Philip.
I just moved from Europe and now I live in Michigan...
I grew up with graffiti, here's the thing I started art when I was about 4 and by the age of 10 I started sketching and by the age of 11 I started graffiti,........................ and still doing it.

options:

1- Draw you name in stick letters nicely spaced... then draw a contour and fill it in and color it (easy)

2-Draw the outline of whatever your name or word is... then fill it in and add effects, or the other way around (moderate)

3- Sketch out your composition, add depth, add shadows, add effects and fill it in.... (Creme de la creme/ Best/ Hardest)

Your welcome

And if you need info about graffiti:

start with your favorite characters letters or numbers. Draw each one and pretened its alive, like its dancing or doing a pose.

Draw that with some pseudo 3d.
Put all your dancing/posing characters together.

Graffiti usually has a 3 dimensional look to it so I guess you could try that. Just try your own, style, really. You can't go wrong with art.
