I have bought a bunch of expensive "Georgian" brand oil paints at a low price but it still ended up expensive for my budget, because of my inexperience and a busy schedule, I wont be able to use them for a while,
1)can they just sit there for a long time?

2)how long?

3)will time effect them at all if they are sealed in their original tubes the whole time, even a little bit?

I work with a canon eos 1d mark I (it's old I know but it's not in my hands to change it I have to work with it) and my pictures come out unfocused or not well focused. I've also had trouble focusing on still subjects(!!!)with its autofocus function. When I turn it on manual things are a little better but still the pictures aren't as good as they used to be!!! I'm looking at the manual right now to see if I'm doing sth wrong but I also wanna know if there's a chance that sth might be wrong with the camera....

I painted a design on some ceramic tile (not glazed) with wood paint (I was bored and it was all I had!), but I need to seal it on somehow. It rubs off fairly easily. Any suggestions? The acrylic sealant I use for sketches doesn't protect the "test" piece I made.

I need an idea for a poster. We're supposed to use Photoshop to edit our pictures.
I can do most everything on Photoshop so options are broad.

The only problem is I'm short on ideas.

It's supposed to be a poster representing my feeling towards school.

I don't have a specific opinion on the school so all ideas are welcome.

I have a pair of all white vans slip-ons that I bought specifically to customize. Please don't suggest to get it professionally done, because I am myself a professional graphic designer. I just want to know what material to use. I would use acrylic paints, but I don't want the thick feeling of paint, and I'm afraid of them cracking. So I was looking into markers, and I have some Sakura brush pens that are supposed to not bleed on paper. Does anyone have experience with something like this? I want to find some type of marker of archival quality that won't bleed on the canvas of the shoes. Thank you. =]

On Halloween I went out to a party with my friends and I took pictures with my friend's camera of everyone- I'm a photographer - When I got them back everything was great- except my friend. Take Notice that I took all the pictures! Her hair is curly black instead of blonde straight, her face is blue and in some there is blackish- red goo coming from her veil ( she was a bride ) and in the pictures she is glaring when I saw her SMILING in the pictures! On one there is a bloody hand on her shoulder! She is alone in the pic. OMG I need help here- I would show them to you but the photos will not download! :(

Is my friend cursed?- in her school pictures her hair is curly black again, and she is not smiling. I am kind of afraid of her now! HHHHEEELLLPPPP!

I just bought some acrylic paint, some brushes (intended for oils or acrylics), and a 12" by 16" canvas. I know what I want to do but I want to make sure I don't do anything wrong. Give me the basics, what should my first step be, etc. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I'm a beginner at photography. I really love those pictures where an object is clear, but the background is out of focus. How do I do this on a digital camera? I have a Canon A640. I know you have to set something on the Aperture Priority to a low number, but when I do that it doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

It is composed of many thick layers of oil paint. Currently, it's one large sticky coat, but what can I use to dry it - to finish it. A sealer, mod podge, etc... It's a painting of the actor Lee Van Cleef by the way.

I have a Nikon D50 and for some reason when I take photos in low light enviornment its like the camera tries to compensate and the shutter speed is extremely slow. Also when it takes the photo it looks nothing like what I intended. How do I capture a shot at night just like how it looks?

I have read about this substance "glass wax" or "ice wax" on wikipedia but can't find information about it anywhere else. It is for a circus prop- I need to mould a sculpture out of something that looks like glass but that will not cut performers when it shatters. I could use sugar glass but it gets sticky and can warp in heat. Apparently ice wax is much more durable and long lasting, and is used in films, but I can't seem to find out how to make it or where to get hold of it. Does anyone know of it or have any ideas? Your help is much appreciated!
