Visual Arts - December 2007

Hi guys. I have this one art class where I need to make a project. I need to find anything (material wise) and transform it into something better that either moves, or makes sounds. The thing is, it can't be something that is already made. I know it's confusing, but the more help, the better.

Example: Let's take a spoon for example and then now I'm going to transform it into a spoon that has music to it.

Just saying though. I need to be able to make it turn into that. Please someone help me. I'm so lost on ideas! =(

I tried painting it with acrylic but it does not work. I do not get a smooth surface. Any ideas? Does anyone think that spray paint is better to get smooth surfaces?

so i currently own i Kodak Easyshare Z760 . its 6.1 mp , and it has 3x optical zoom. if you have read my previous questions i want to go into a creative photography course. I'm only 15 so i have 2-3 years to build up my portfolio and yes i do need to sumbit a portfolio for this course 10 pictures either color or b&w .

Hello!

I have really gotten into chalk drawing lately and am drawing a picture for my Grandma for Christmas. I have ran out of that Spray that Michael's charges 9$ for that seals the chalk onto the paper..my question is this:

Will hairspray work just as well as that adhesive spray? Or what other sprays do you use to keep the chalk from smearing when you are done with a layer/picture.

I recently inherited a Minolta SRT MCII camera along with a mess of lenses, filters, and accessories. I was hoping some camera buffs could help me out, because I have not used a camera like this in years. Firstly, what kind of battery does this thing use? I was not fortunate enough to get a manual, and all the links I try on the internet are no good.

Also, Some of the lenses I got are Yashika, including a Yashinon-R Zoom 90mm-190mm lens. It looks to me like these are screw-in lenses, and the Minolta uses a Bayonet Mount. Is there a way to use that cool zoom lens on my Minolta?

Any help you can give me would be great! Thanks, all
