Does sharpie bleed through candy cane wrappers?

like the classic peppermint candy canes, i wrote on the plastic wrapper with a sharpie and i was wondering if it's hazardous?

Marker pens should not bleed through the cellophane. In fact, the wrapper is designed to protect the candy from contamination of liquids.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you didn't like totally paint them in the ink from the sharpie. Just writing something should be fine.
