I am looking to upgrade my camera and I am just wondering what camera you use or would recommend purchasing. It would be mostly for my children at the moment, have really taken an interest in photography and would like to span out and start taking professional pictures eventually (children, maternity, weddings, etc). I have a couple of courses I am looking into, and need to hone my skills, but I would like to start off and get familiar with a GOOD camera. Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Any info would be good or even if you just want to share my dream (when i sell everything i own and mortgage the car) of welding one at a target, what do you think? would it be ok for my myspace pictures?

Should canon have supplied a better picture, it looks a bit transparent.

Answer A or B or both.

Question A: Can you make ratio shots in the camera? - answer if you know what it means

Question B: Whats the time ratio you spent on "taking" a shot and "editing" it later?

do you spent a minute "taking" the shot then 60 minutes playing with it in the computer? That would be a ratio of 1:60.

Personally Im at the other end up to 60 minutes making an image in the camera and a minute or so in the computer. So that would be 60:1. See how you go with this.

Sometimes I just can't help myself.

If I could give everyone I know 1,000 points, I would.

I think my major advantage is that I started here when Yahoo! Answers was pretty new and there were not that many people answering questions.

Do you think they don't know that this question has been answered well over 2,000 times or do you think that they are trying to set a new record? At this pace, we could have 48 new postings of the same question within 24 hours!

People, don't you notice that Yahoo! gives you links to 40 or 50 other questions that are just like the one you are asking about the color highlight thing before you post your question?
