do you you think its worth getting a tattoo of your own name or others like family or possibly a husband..

I believe tattoos are a form of art. They tell stories, and they can be tributes to the people you care about in your life. Putting your own name on yourself is just letting people know what your name is. Plus putting your significant others name on your body is supposed to be bad luck. I would definitely put names of family that I care about on myself. It's a tribute to them. I would put the names on my mid upper back. I think it would look nice there.

I've got my artist/nickname "Strange" on my shoulder. (I'd never tattoo girlfriend's or a wife's name on me-but I'd tattoo a childs name cause they'd always be my child. (I have no kids, no wife or ex-wife from the past & that's a good thing.)

I'm against the whole Tattoo idea .. you will mutilate your body .. and someday you will find that you don't want it anymore

My favorite tatoo ... a friend of mine has... Has one of those banners that usually have a name on them.. it's all fancy and where a name usually is... it says "your name."
