Andy Warhol was gay but it doesn't necessary mean he never had a girlfriend, or even got married. Not exactly sure but your best typing a search in on google or looking him up in a library.

He was more of an Asexual. I don't think he cared about sex. His "companion" of many years was Fred Hughs but they always seemed like best friends more than a couple.

He was a sick kid and his Mother took care of him. He was very close to his Mother (his father died early in his life). I believe he preferred the company of men, which would answer the whole girlfriend/wife question.
