If I couldn't be as original as possible I wouldn't even bother painting. It's a driving force in my creative process.

Are you new at asking questions or are you just being original? Anyway there is a point I'd like to make on the subject. Originality is something that is not conscienciously forced. One is original automatically even when one is trying not to be. So as an artist don't be afraid of influence and go ahead and copy style or content all you want because the real , original, YOU will shine through regardless.

Originality comes from every artist, I believe it is harder to copy than to be original. Or something like that.
