Four people have asked that question about making a black and white photo with one thing in color in the past 2 hours. Do you think they don't know that this question has been answered well over 2,000 times or do you think that they are trying to set a new record? At this pace, we could have 48 new postings of the same question within 24 hours!

People, don't you notice that Yahoo! gives you links to 40 or 50 other questions that are just like the one you are asking about the color highlight thing before you post your question?

The thing is, it is such an easy question to answer that I feel bad letting it pass by, but once or twice a day is enough.

As far as wasting points on a stupid question, I already cashed in the first 50,000 on a plane ticket to London and I just don't want to go there again. If I ever get to 100,000, I can go see antoni, but losing five points every now and then won't really delay that trip by too much.

Teef, what's SAD is that probably many people consider asking a question here to be "doing research on the internet."

Terisu - you were obviously listening to a Zone 6 kind of guy.

Hey Dr Sam, how do you do that really cool little trick where you make most of the picture black and white but just leave LIKE one thing in color? Do I have to have photoshop to do this? If so do you know where I can download it for free?

Hee hee - I kill myself, sorry just couldn't resist.

I never bother answering this question because most of my esteemed colleagues above already have stock answers to this question and I shall leave it up to them to copy and paste, copy and paste, copy and paste, copy and paste ... well yeah you get the idea.

Why?

LAZINESS. It's a sad point we have reached where we are too lazy to use our brains to do even the faintest bit of research, rather than just asking because hey, someone is going to answer!

Excuse me, I am heading off to the nearest cliff now which I intend to jump off!

Stop the world, I want to get off.

Oh and if someone has read this far and hasn't got it yet!

JUST KIDDING!!!!

Yes, I am getting boerd with this group. But, I have discovered that there are other groups in "answers", where I havent seen the same questions so many times.

Some maintenance and repair, and I hav even answered some relationship questions.

Gee, I hope they knew I was kidding most of the time though, hehe.

Wow! You mean I leave for a few days and people don't have the decency to ask all new questions? By the way, Cleveland was cold and wet, but the Ansel Adams exhibit at the art museum there was ecxellent! Too bad it just ended, or I'd recommend you all go! And there are stupid people everywhere, by the way. Someone complained one of his pictures was--get this--too black!

Thank you, Dr. Sam. THANK YOU!

I, myself have answered this question a half dozen times in the last week or so. Today, I just shook my head, shed a tear, and went on with my life.

"... and can I do it for free?"
