You want honesty so I will tell you what I feel.
First off, I would want to see other samples before I could actually say if I think you can make a living selling your art.
You obviously have talent but something you might want to do is study the paintings from the late (late 50s through 60s) Abstract Expressionist movement. What you do not want to happen is to have people start saying your work is too influenced by other artists. These people will say it looks too much like work that has already been done. You do not want that if you want to be taken seriously as a contemporary artist.
About the work itself: You do seem to have a natural touch, a feel for what you're saying with your art and this is a very positive attribute to have. It means you would be able to express freely whatever you choose to express. Believe it or not, few artists have this natural gift. It is something you should develop to it's fullest.
I would suggest you show more variations in your theme. Perhaps add a few heavier, more solid color areas? Or a few negative space areas that screw up the viewer's point of view? You may actually already be doing this but it's hard to tell from looking at just one sample.
Do I think it is marketable? Everything is marketable if marketed the right way. But what's more important is that I believe you have a raw, natural talent with almost unlimited possibilities and when you've fine-touched your own original vision you'll do just fine making a living from your art.
A side note: Keep it on a canvas whenever possible. Works on paper never seem to bring nearly as much money (unless you're already famous) as do paintings on canvas.

I personally think that your artwork (from this one painting) is quite interesting and has an asian feel to it, which is really popular in home decor. What I would do, if I were you, is test the waters by attempting to sell some of your stuff on ebay and see what people are willing to pay.

*shakes head* no longer with this. while you're youthful and merely beginning out, besides the undeniable fact that, practice, so interior the destiny you've got a profession of it. XD I did kinda like how the hair became accomplished (no longer the size however), and the purple stripes of the historic past. yet her face (notably eyes) is kinda, excuse me, creepy, and her palms and feet look too small. D: yet shop engaged on it. Sorry if i'm being insensitive.. ;_;

Eh, it looks like a bunch of letters meshed together, using the slanted brush in Paint. I think that some people would pay for it, but personally, I wouldn't... not to say its bad or unoriginal. Just not my particular taste. Sorry for bluntness, but thats me being honest. (:'[]

I'm sorry I just really don't see anything interesting about it.
But that's me, though. I bet you someone will.
