For my art homework i have to get a few pictures from contemporary (alive) artists i was hoping to Jack vettriano but he's dead , so does anyone know an artist(s) like him which are alive?

I'm looking to get nude photographs done of myself as a kind of erotic gift for my special someone. I need to find a good photographer that will do this and don't know where to begin. I don't want someone that runs some sleazy business out of their apartment--just a real photographer that will act professional and be ok with taking some very provocative photos. I'm talking Playboy style by the way--not Penthouse! Any thoughts or ideas?

I have an art project coming up and need to get a whole bunch of 12" records (probably somewhere around 80), but don't know where to find them. They can be blank, have labels on them, whatever, it doesn't matter. Any help?

As some of you might already know I can paint realistic and surrealistic paintings (and do so often enough) and portraits.

But over the years I've heard the cliche many times over that artists paint abstract art because they don't have the real talent to do real art.

That's not always the case, my friends. I work in abstract art also because it allows for a whole universe, a mental landscape, of expression that realism and neo-realism often enough does not allow.

Want to see what I mean here? It frees the creative soul and, when it comes out right, it's fun!

I paint with acrylics (craft paint) and mix my colors on a plastic pallet. When I go to clean up, I have trouble cleaning the paint from the pallet. Any tips?

i think cicciolina was photographed as the virgin mary it looked like a brightly coloured, bordering on gaudy, renaissance painting? I thinkJean Paul gaultier was photographed as well in this style? I cant thinkn of the name, I am sure the artist is known by one name only but I could be wrong/ I remember taschen postcard books had this artist but I cant find it on thier website!
