I have this art assignment, but I don't have any good ideas. what you have to do is think of a word that has two different meanings, like if the word was butterfinger as in the candy, you would draw buttery fingers. can anyone help?? thanks!!

on the subject of candy.. what about like milky way and you can draw the solar system and all of the planets?

Do you mean something like Sale and Sail?

If you stay with the candy theme, you can do kiss- the actual action of kissing and a candy kiss or the rock group, Kiss.

Also, in keeping with the candy theme, there is Payday- the peanut candy bar and the actual Pay Day- when we all get our pay checks!

There is a rock group "Dead Presidents" that also applies to the U.S. monetary system (only dead Presidents are on the currency), also- the actual dead Presidents themselves.

I don't know if you need homonyms or homophones, but you can easily search these terms on the web to get a bunch of ideas. Also, here is a link to a really cute page of artwork done on this theme, an exercise like yours, but done by grade-schoolers:
