there's a survery and the top 1% of wealthy people get their wealth through the following:
1% - won or inherited it
5% - super sales people (selling big ticket items)
10% - CEOs of presidents of a company
10% - doctor or attorney
74% - entreprenuer
that's done by Stats Canada. (no joke) So now you need to look into going into business for yourself doing something that you love. People that do what they love (and pursue it) get paid the most. I've included a link to Forbes magazines best and worst paying jobs. Good luck!

It really depends on the type of art your into. I'm trying to get into the animation industry and the highest paying jobs are directors. you should be more concerned with what type of thing you love to do. if you get into a field for the money and it's not what you love you'll probably end up hating art.

I read that any income beyond 50k a year doesn't really contribute to happiness.
I worked in a private club full of rich folks, and they seemed really miserable!
Do what you like and you'll be happy.
I know a guy who paints stuff like decanters and game figures and sells them on ebay. He's pretty happy.

I didnt' realize there were so many. The one that came to mind for me was advertising. That will always be a good job, I would think.
