I'm looking to get nude photographs done of myself as a kind of erotic gift for my special someone. I need to find a good photographer that will do this and don't know where to begin. I don't want someone that runs some sleazy business out of their apartment--just a real photographer that will act professional and be ok with taking some very provocative photos. I'm talking Playboy style by the way--not Penthouse! Any thoughts or ideas?

First, make sure the photographer has a good reputation and good morals. There are good ones out there who do the right thing, then there are those who will "let the photos fall into the wrong hands," usually for a profit. If you are truly uncomfortable with it, tell her. Let her now that you support her, that you know her pictures will look beautiful, but that you are a little uncomfortable and a little jealous. When it comes to the thoughts of her being so exposed to somebody else, keep in mind that a true professional photographer won't see your wife as a sex object, he sees the human body as a beautiful thing, more of a work of art to be appreciated, not a sexual object to be ogled. I hope you and your wife can come to an agreement on this, respect each other and be happy!

It would help to tell us where you live. Furthermore, and most importantly, make sure you get from the photographer the memory card used for your photos. Secondly, you should take charge of printing the photos (get a nice photo quality printer). Thirdly, browse thru the internet for some nude pics and print them so you can give the photographer ideas.

Unless this special someone is a permanent special someone in your life, I would not give such a gift. See if you can find any information on the talk show host Laura Schlessinger who had a lover who took nudes of her and long after he took them, and they were no longer together, he released them to the public.

I am not sure of where you live but they are usually in larger city phone books.I assure you there are many professionals that do this for a fee that aren't out to take advantage of you .They are just what the name implies professional.I have seen them in the phone books and if you are unsure call and ask. They usually have female assistants working with them or they could be female .Whatever you are looking for is out there all you have to do is look..

you could look on pbase.com . allot of photographer post portfolios there . many probably working out of their homes but many are very professional despite the fact and many do nudes in the glamor style . the kind that are sexy but dont really show anything, and the sexy and showing but yet classy , meaning not in the pron style
The advantage to looking on pbase.com is you get to see his/her work before you contact them

I would have to say, any photographer would do it. If they refuse I would say that would be borderline discrimination but I guess they have rights too. So yeah, just ring around and shouldnt take long to find one.

Try a search on "boudoir photography" and seeing if anything helpful comes up.
