I paint with acrylics (craft paint) and mix my colors on a plastic pallet. When I go to clean up, I have trouble cleaning the paint from the pallet. Any tips?

ive had the same problem... (i love painting :) ) anyways... soak your pallete in hot water for a few minutes then take a wool pad... like something you would use to scrape grese from dishes. it will take the paint off perfectly. i use them all the time and the hot water just makes it easier and quicker.

good luck

Instead of a conventional pallet, use plastic coated paper plates and throw them away when done.

don't let it dry on the palette in clumps. since acrylics dry pretty fast, use what you need, then use a sponge to clean up the excess immediately.

I use stier-foam plates. You can through them away when your done and they're relitively cheap.

Wax paper dose the job too. Easy to clean, just through away.
