It would be very difficult for me to answer this question as it is asked because I have too many favorites to have to choose one.
If the question were which were your favorites in specific styles that would be much easier to answer. You really can't compare Picasso to Pollock or Benton to Rembrandt.

Madame X by John Singer Sargent. I never get tired of looking at it. Not only great craftsmanship, but great choice of subject, regal pose, and fantastic composition. I've seen it in person and it's huge...you can see it at the link below.

Not being egotistical or anything but the stuff I do is my favorite. Not because I think it's great or anything (It is what it is.) but because they're like my kids. I gave them life and saw them through from the spark of an idea to the finished stages. Sometimes they're like my red-headed stepchild and other times they're the perfect kid. (to me anyway.)
