Just curious how long you can leave ink in these pens before you risk having the ink start to gunk up inside the pen. If you keep the cap on the pen when not in use, how long can you leave it with the ink in it?

Thanks.

I am not interested so much in the life of the artist as in what a painting depicts, and in some of the finer points which can be missed at first glance. If it represents an episode from history or fiction or the Bible, then what the episode was, so that I can research it further. If it's a portrait, then whose portrait it is and what relationship did the artist have with that person.
And so on.
Can you help?

In other words, what would be a more "professional" photograph: one taken with a 10MP point-and-shoot, or one taken with a 7MP DSLR?

hey its me again last time i asked for ideas about something which can be two different things depending on how you look at them. well now i have another project (due in tomorrow by the way!). i have to take a basic shape and gradually transform it into something else more complex (like an animal, a plant, etc.), as if it evolves into something. i can do one big one or lots of variations. any ideas? Thanks!

Okay, I may start investing in cameras, and zooming equipment, and want to know what is out there that is proven to use. Not just a name you saw somewhere or heard what was good, but have actually used, and would stake your good name on.

I do use disposable cameras, but there are times when you need to zoom in tight to get a good shot, and there are times when you need to get a good action shot, and times when time is of the essence.

Thank you so much, in advance, for your information, insight, input, and thoughtful consideration.

Is it just the painter's confidence that makes him an artist, or is it someone else who decides?

I apppreciate art and would like to know how to draw and do stylized illustration. Unfortunately I'm not good at drawing and have no clue how to shade anything. Can anyone learn to draw or is this a talent you must be born with? If I can learn how do I go about doing that. I get frustrated because I expect to draw perfectly on the first try and end up giving up.

In this day and age,do we view Michelangelo as more of a sculptor or a painter? I think most people would know him for his David but the Creation of Adam is fairly popular too,not to mention the Sistine Chapel! I see him as a sculptor I think, especially they way he thought their was a spirit within the marble and he had to free it. Anyone else have any opinions on this?

Just wondering what peoples opinions are on Renaissance art? Anyone like it? Do you think people can still relate to it now or does it seem too 'high art' like? I think its become more widespread and available to more people through reproductions(posters, bags etc) but does that immunise people against it?

actually its my neighbors cat. You see I was doing some research on bath tubs and hand held blow driers and the cat volunteered to help and well...he never made it. So now I'm covering him with 5 coats of varnish so I can us him to hold open a door that won't stay open.Am I wasting my time or will it be enough weight to hold it open?
