to me creativity is simply originality..

Well, the word create is in there so...it means that you are able to create something. I know for a fact, to be creative, you do not have to be artistic, just have the ability to maybe think a little differently than others, to do the unexpected :)
The creative person is the one who gets the idea, and then acually does it!
