Just curious how long you can leave ink in these pens before you risk having the ink start to gunk up inside the pen. If you keep the cap on the pen when not in use, how long can you leave it with the ink in it?

I have found that some inks are better than others, but a couple of days to a week was all I ever "got " out of my inks. To be safe, clean it out if you waited a week for the next use. You must have clean lines, after all.

i use rotring isograph pens using rotring ink, indian ink and rohrer & klinger ing and almost never clean them out, maybe once every year and a half.
