actually its my neighbors cat. You see I was doing some research on bath tubs and hand held blow driers and the cat volunteered to help and well...he never made it. So now I'm covering him with 5 coats of varnish so I can us him to hold open a door that won't stay open.Am I wasting my time or will it be enough weight to hold it open?

Actually,as the cat becomes dessicated its weight may prove insufficient to hold open a door of any weight more than a hollow core door so......I suggest making a small slice in the abdomen, removing the organic filling and replacing with something such as sterilized sand or perhaps river rock and restitch using a blind hem stitch to appease those with a heightened sense of aesthetics who may object to the use of a whip stitch citing its clumsy appearance. I suggest waiting until the dessication process is complete before using the varnish or you may find the shrinkage leaves you with a smaller version of tabby encased in a hard cat-shaped shell of varnish....am I wrong?
