When you see a heart, you automatically think of love or happiness. When you see a rain drop, you may think of sadness. A smiley face for happiness. What other other items resemble these feelings: Love, Sadness, happiness, anger. If you can think of other feelings, feel free to put them down. (If you're wondering, I'm drawing a picture, and i really need some ideas.)

A friend told me she saw an article about a doctor operating on a
baby in the womb and it reached it's hand out of the incision and
kept it wrapped around the surgeon's finger for the whole
operation. She said there is a photo of it but that she had deleted
it. Has anyone else here seen the photo or heard this story? That
image gives me chills.

What credentials do you believe makes a photogrpaher a professional?

What seperates us from the 21yr old who had one photography class in college and now tells everyone he does it on a professional level?

Is it membership to a national organization? Years of experience? Or is it the fact that they just charge for their work? Tell me here. Or even vent if you would like.

I am just starting in Photography and one area i am trying out is fashion photography for catalogues and publication. I am not schooled in lighting and would like to find out tips and tricks on how to get good all round light and eliminate shadows on the photos. Sometime I will be shooting outdoors and sometimes on location.
