Use a Bedsheet on a PVC pipe frame or just hanging from a tree- nothing better to difuse the light for the cost anything else would cost way too much-

also you can get the folding window shades from auto stores as filler cards or diffusion filters

You could probably spend big bucks on some formal "professional" ones, but a few minutes spent making your own comes to mind. Maybe a lightweight PVC frame with interchangeable fabric pockets stretched over it. Browse around fabric shops for inspiration.
